This year, applications for participation in the Moscow project "Our Tree" are accepted until April 25. Residents of the capital will be able to plant a name tree in parks free of charge in honor of the birth of a child.

Families whose children are under three years of age can take part in the project. The application can be submitted by one of the parents with registration in Moscow. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his telegram channel.

“This family-ecological project started four years ago. Thanks to him, almost 23,000 named trees have already been planted in 27 Moscow parks,” said the Mayor of Moscow.

Details about the project can be found on the website of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow. In particular, it lists the trees that you can choose for planting - mountain ash, linden, maple, pine, spruce, willow, oak, apple tree and pear.
