Multi-day cycling race will be held in the North Caucasus

The press service of the Roscongress Foundation reported that on September 5, the multi-day cycling race “Friendship of the Peoples of the North Caucasus” started in the Chechen Republic, which will last until September 16.

This race has been held annually since 1993, and since 1994 it has been held as part of the Russian Open Championship in road cycling among men in the multi-day race discipline.

Its participants will travel 1,127 km through the territories of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Republic of Adygea. The strongest racers of Russia and Belarus will take part in the competition

The technical partner of the cycling race will be Lada, which will provide support vehicles for the peloton.
