More than 39 million rubles are planned for Sochi budget revenues in 2023

The indicators of the main financial document of the resort exceeded the budget figures of the pre-Olympic period and have record figures. In the coming three-year period, the total amount of income is planned in the amount of 93.8 billion rubles. In the draft budget for 2023, revenues amount to 39.1 billion rubles. The dynamics for the current year is 152%.

– The budget system of the city of Sochi is stable. In the main financial document of the city, the main priorities are preserved: the budget will remain programmatic, investment and at the same time socially oriented. Expenditures for the social sphere are provided for in the amount of 12.7 billion rubles, which is more than half of the entire expenditure part of the budget. The document will be adjusted during its execution in 2023. The priority task is the design of new educational, cultural, sports and health facilities, - stressed the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

Capital investments in municipal property are provided for in the amount of 21.5 billion rubles, or 54.6% of the total budget expenditures. Budget investments have been increased by 3.5 times compared to the current year. The absolute increase will amount to 15.4 billion rubles. The Sochi budget for 2023-2025 attracted financial support from higher budgets in the amount of more than 56 billion rubles, which is twice the current volumes in 2022. In 2023 alone, more than 27 billion rubles will be received. Revenues collected in the city and remaining at its disposal in accordance with tax and budget legislation for 2023 are projected at 11.8 billion rubles. Consistent increase is planned for all major revenue sources of the city budget. Next year, it is planned to increase the rate of income from personal income tax at the level of 11%, from corporate income tax by 10%. Significant revenues are expected from special tax regimes.

In the coming years, it is planned to implement new directions for the development of the city of Sochi for the integrated construction of schools, the formation of project documentation for urban infrastructure facilities for further inclusion in state programs from 2025, the renewal of the vehicle fleet and the transition to a new model of transport service.

All social payments are kept in the budget. Payments to 16 categories of citizens in need of support will double. The implementation of social support measures for the families of mobilized Sochi residents, volunteers, and citizens serving under a contract in the zone of a special military operation will continue. Financing of projects of school initiative budgeting is provided. It is also planned to purchase 39 apartments for orphans and children left without parental care.
