The first cargo of spring flowers was issued at the Russian-Abkhazian border in Sochi.
"Employees of the customs post MAPP Adler carried out customs control in relation to the first commercial batch of mimosa - 200 kilograms of flowers," the press service of the Sochi customs reported.
The main deliveries of mimosa will be carried out from the end of February to the first days of March - by the holiday of March 8, flowers are brought to all regions of the country. Flower cargo goes through all the necessary customs operations as quickly as possible, on a priority basis. Mimosa is transported hermetically packed, under certain temperature conditions in order to avoid drying out and spoilage. In 2021, about 150 tons of bouquets were issued. This year, deliveries are expected to be at the same level as last year.
