The Austrian authorities have relaxed the conditions for entering the country: fully vaccinated tourists arriving from Russia and several other countries are no longer required to comply with mandatory quarantine upon arrival.
This decision was made after Russia, India, the Netherlands, Nepal, Great Britain, South Africa, Zambia and Botswana were excluded from the list of regions where the coronavirus is spread. Travelers arriving from these countries to Austria should not be on self-isolation, but Russians may have difficulties.
The fact is that seven vaccines are currently approved in Austria: BioNTech / Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinovac, Sinopharm and Covishield. Russian "Sputnik V" is not on this list.
However, it is clarified that in Austria, travelers are considered fully vaccinated, even if they took doses of vaccines from different companies, that is, they mixed several types.
