"As part of the 140th anniversary of the founding of the network of public libraries in Moscow, the mission of our project is to preserve the spiritual riches of Moscow libraries, tell people about them with the help of bright and attractive formats, as well as to launch an arrow of creative and strategic planning into the future," says the Director of the Foundation for the Development of Cultural, Educational and Environmental Initiatives "Green Carnation" by Alexander Chaplygin (https://gcfund.ru /) .

"The project "Libraries of Moscow - treasures of cultural life: past, present, future" will be held from February to December 2024 in Moscow," said the project manager, an expert in the field of cultural diplomacy Vadim Petrov.

"Within the framework of the project, a film Almanac "Moscow Libraries: Buildings, Books, Destinies" will be created, a Guide "Moscow Libraries: Buildings, Books, Destinies" will be released, and the beloved format of the street photo exhibition will tell in photographs which bible libraries are the most beloved of famous Muscovites. At the first city conference "Moscow Libraries: the entry point to Creative Industries", we will attract the maximum number of participants from different target audience groups, especially young people. Our project aims to change the image of Moscow libraries, to draw the attention of the general public to progressive, comfortable and at the same time traditional urban spaces."
