The press service of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park announced the update of the digital herbarium on the institution's website. Unlike the previous version, published in 2021, the modern version is up-to-date, complete, intuitive and user-friendly, filled with more diverse information.
The herbarium includes 7024 herbarium leaves of vascular plants, collection of seeds of 202 plants, 283 species of herbalized fungi, as well as collections of algae, mosses and lichens. Among them there are samples dated 1895.
Experts emphasize that the herbarium leaf with a plant sample is an archival document and a valuable source of information. The Digital Herbarium of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park is registered in the international herbarium catalog Index Herbariorum with the acronym STOLBY.
