Italy expects to receive 20% more tourists this summer than in 2020, the Italian Tourism Federation said.

It is expected that the increase in the number of tourists will be 6.7 million people (24.1%), which is 65.8 million people less than in 2019, when the mark of 100 million tourists was broken.

Italy is preparing to welcome tourists from Russia in July. The Italian Ministry of Tourism said that to enter the country, you will need the results of testing for coronavirus, a certificate for the presence of antibodies or a vaccine certificate. But its validity period should be less than six months.

Nevertheless, Russia has not yet included Italy in the list of countries with which flight connection will be resumed in the near future.
