The Perm Museum of Local Lore offers to touch the history of the Middle Ages.
“Historical reconstruction is not only a revival of material culture. Songs, round dances, games, ceremonies - the folklore ensemble of the Khokhlovka Museum and invited groups will acquaint visitors with the cultural heritage of the Kama region, ”the museum reports on its website.
There will be interactive platforms for festival guests. There you can see the work of craftsmen, try your hand at handicrafts - painting, weaving, weaving, making jewelry, wood carving, clay modeling, participate in traditional Russian board games "Spikers" and "Baklushi".
The festival program also includes a demonstration of replicas of weapons and armor from the Middle Ages, a master class in chain mail weaving, pen writing, a heroic tournament, sparring with soft swords, traditional archery, and a historical campsite.
