The press service of the company "Kavkaz.The Russian Federation" reported that specialists in the field of tourism industry from Iran came to Russia for a study tour of the North Caucasus. The trip was held under a visa-free mechanism.
Within six days, guests from Iran got acquainted with tourist attractions, transport, hotel infrastructure and the level of service. They also discussed the prospects of cooperation with regional tour operators.
In particular, Iranian specialists visited the picturesque places of the resort towns of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, got acquainted with the unique architecture and possibilities of balneological complexes and sanatoriums. In Kabardino-Balkaria, an excursion to the Elbrus region was organized for them with a visit to the Elbrus resort and a lift by cable car to a height of 3847 meters above sea level.
In Chechnya, guests from Iran visited the Ushkaloy watchtowers, the Nihaloyev Waterfalls, the medieval Phakoch Castle, the Veduchi resort, and also visited the Heart of Chechnya Mosque. In Dagestan, Iranian tour operators strolled through the historical and architectural complex "Citadel "Naryn-Kala" and the historical quarters of Derbent.
Following the results of the study tour, they, together with colleagues from the NCFD, will prepare various travel programs for Iranian tourists.
