International music folk festival will be held in Zaraysk near Moscow

Artists from Scotland, Ireland, Armenia and Bashkiria are expected to perform at the event. Among them are the best percussionist and flutist in the style of Scottish folk music Frank McGuire, Conor Murray and the TripleCork band, duduk master Vahan Barseghyan and the ARGIMAK band.

In addition, guests of the festival will be able to hear performances by the musical project from Russia "ZventaSventana", the creative association "Vek" and the ensemble "Cossack Circle", as well as the ensemble of Russian traditional music "Romoda".

In addition, young folk groups from different cities of Russia will come to Zaraysk.

The festival program includes fair performances of Petrushka, master classes in playing rare musical instruments, such as psaltery, kalyuk and jew's harp, as well as training in archaic vocal techniques.

Artist from Ireland Conor Murray will hold a master class on Irish dances.

The guests of the festival will also be able to take pictures next to the drakkar, a wooden boat of the Varangians-Vikings, recreated according to the preserved drawings.
