A two-day workshop on the development of industrial tourism was held at the Norilsk Development Agency.
Its participants were representatives of 17 enterprises interested in organizing industrial excursions, as well as guides and heads of tour operators of the tourist and recreational cluster "Arctic".
As reported by the Internet resource sgnorilsk.ru the seminarians learned what forms of industrial tourism exist, analyzed the compiled thematic tour and practiced preparing their own, learned to talk about production facilities in a fascinating way and fill out the technological map of the tour.
"Industrial tourism helps to increase the investment attractiveness of territories, allows enterprises to demonstrate their achievements and debunk myths around the domestic industry, and also makes it possible to attract new categories of tourists," said Sergey Ryzhov, CEO of MICE Market.
The result of the training should be developed industrial excursions to local enterprises. Approximately in November, the tours can be launched in test mode, and in the future – for everyone.
