Hundreds of athletes from different countries will gather in Sochi

Two international starts will be held at the resort at once. The series of competitions will be opened by the Commonwealth Cup in summer biathlon with the participation of the sports teams of Russia and Belarus. It will take place from 23 to 29 August at the facilities of the Gazprom Mountain Tourist Center. Entrance for spectators will be free, and on the days of the competition there will be a reduced rate for the lift by cable car.

From October 2 to October 9, Sochi will host the Summer Paralympic Games "We are together. Sport". Athletes from Belarus, SCO, BRICS, CIS and other friendly states will become their participants. The sports program of the Games will include nine sports, competitions will be organized at various facilities of the resort. For example, the Yug-Sport sports training center will host athletics, table tennis, wheelchair fencing, PODA football and para-taekwondo competitions. Paralympic athletes will compete in checkers, chess and archery at the Yunost sports complex. Swimming competitions will be organized on the basis of one of the hotel complexes in the mountains of Sochi. For the convenience of spectators, the number of transport to the event venues will be increased.
