The authorities of Ho Chi Minh City, which is the largest economic center and cultural capital of Vietnam, expect to receive in 2023 up to 5 million foreign tourists and increase the total revenue from tourism to $6.8 million.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony of the first travelers from abroad this year, Deputy Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong An Duc said that in 2022 more than 3.46 million foreign tourists visited the city - twice as many as in 2021.

Modern skyscrapers coexist in Ho Chi Minh City with the buildings of the colonial era of Saigon and traditional pagodas. Tourists will discover here not only delicious street food, incendiary nightlife and historical sights, but also will be able to cruise along the Mekong Delta.
