The major gastronomic festival that began at the Rosa Khutor resort on July 15 has now transitioned into a special fair. From August 1 to 4, at an elevation of over 1,000 meters above sea level, eight restaurants from the resort—Boomerang, Kaf-Kas, Rosa Springs Hotel, ProKinkali, Smoker Bar, Height 2320, Berloga, and Bierkeller—are opening their corners, offering a diverse menu centered around "Cuisines of the South." The fair will focus on a contemporary interpretation of Caucasian gastronomic traditions.
Participating chefs are presenting creative food pairings, such as smoked ribs marinated in Abkhaz whiskey, adjika, and honey; chakapuli made with lamb and cherries; and chudu with figs, chestnut honey, and sour cream, among other exciting flavors.
During the fair, the chefs will conduct signature masterclasses for all interested attendees. Guests at the resort can learn to prepare Dagestani pies, juicy lula kebabs, Georgian flatbreads with shashlik, and even unique smoked biscuits with peaches.
In addition to the culinary delights, guests at the fair can enjoy a rich musical program featuring live Latin music from Desperados, cover performances of the best Italian hits by PaSta Project, and shows by other musical groups. On the evening of the first day, the band "Otpetye Moshenniki" will perform.
The gastronomic fair at Rosa Khutor will be open throughout the first weekend of August from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
