Portal "Interfax-tourism" with reference to the press secretary of the institution Ekaterina Govorova said that at present there are three tour routes that originate at museum sites. Then they continue already in the city. According to Ekaterina Govorova, these excursions are very popular among tourists.
Now the museum is preparing excursions "Land of rivers, lakes and bays" and "Bridges of Kaliningrad. Past, present, future". Some of these routes will pass through the water. Tourists will be able to learn about the history and geography of the Kaliningrad region, the nature of the Baltic, and will also be able to admire the region from the water.
In addition, tourists will be offered bus tours "On the banks of Sambia" and "Amber Sea", as well as a walking ring route "Over New Pregolya, where Peter stepped!".
Some routes will pass through the new museum object "Litva" bastion, located on the banks of the Pregolya River. The ancient fortification was transferred to the museum only last autumn and is terra incognita for tourists and most residents of the region.
The museum is developing these routes in collaboration with regional tour operators who will present them in their programs.
