Festival "Epic Coast" will be held in the Tver region

The festival of historical reconstruction "Epic Coast" will take place from July 22 to 24, on the banks of the Volga near the village of Toporok in the Kimrsky district. The event is dedicated to the culture and traditions of Russia in the 9th-11th centuries.

The guests of the festival will be able to visit a military field camp and see ancient Russian life with their own eyes.

In addition, the participants of the clubs of historical reconstructions will hold pair duels and mass battles of squads. The festival program also includes theatrical performances, fairs of medieval goods, master classes in early medieval crafts and a shooting range with spears and bows.

Guests can visit a medieval tavern and take part in a costume contest.

It is expected that the best ethnographic groups and folk performers of Russia will perform at the event.
