Russia is the second most popular destination for travelers from China.
According to a study conducted by the World Without Borders Association together with the Chinese company Eurasian Tianli, 65% of respondents from the Middle Kingdom are going to travel abroad after the lifting of covid restrictions. At the same time, a third of the respondents said that they would like to go to Russia immediately after the opening of the borders. Another 55 percent plan to do so a little later, and only about 12 percent are not going on such a trip yet.
The survey involved 746 Chinese residents over 20 years old - subscribers to the Visit Russia blog on the WeChat social network. Almost 60 percent of potential travelers are between 30 and 40 years old, with young people between 20 and 30 years old accounting for 27 percent. It is noteworthy that there are more Chinese women among lovers of travelling - 57 percent.
Among the advantages of the Russian Federation over other countries, residents of China call its geographical proximity to their country, as well as affordable prices, friendly relations between states, interesting sights and important historical / cultural sites.
