The famous French Eiffel Tower is preparing for the opening, which is scheduled for June 25, according to local media.

Visitors will have to follow strict security measures - the main requirement is the availability of comfortable and sturdy shoes, since tourists will have to use the stairs to get up.

To prevent a new outbreak of Covid-19, the administration of the French "beauty" decided not to run elevators in which it is impossible to ensure social distancing.

Moreover, visitors will only be able to get as high as the second level, and people over 11 years will have to wear masks.

The tower will be regularly cleaned; disinfection of public spaces will be assured every 2 hours.

However, it is also reported that the normal operation of the tower will be fully restored this summer.

For those planning trips to Paris it is recommended to book tickets for the Eiffel Tower online and in advance when the ticket office opens on Thursday.
