Egypt Air has opened seven weekly direct flights between Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Moscow.

“In connection with the resumption of tourist flow from the Russian Federation after an almost six-year hiatus, Egypt Air announces the launch of seven flights a week from Moscow to Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada starting August 9, 2021,” the document says.

Flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Hurghada will be operated four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and to Sharm El Sheikh - three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

To visit Egypt, Russian tourists need to either provide a certificate of full vaccination with Sputnik V (in English) with a QR code; entry is possible 14 days after receiving the second component of the vaccine. Also a tourist can provide a PCR test done no later than 72 hours before departure to Egypt.
