State Yesenin Museum-Reserve (Ryazan region) announced on his website that he opened the ecological trail "Konstantinovsky foothills". The route will allow visitors to get to know the native land of the poet, sung in his works.

The length of the eco-trail is 1100 meters; it runs along the coastal landscape part of the village, which has a memorial significance. On the way, tourists are invited to make several stops, on the information boards you can read poems by Sergei Yesenin and learn about the features of the landscape.

“The ecological path will take you a century ago, and you will see with your own eyes the foothills, as Sergei Yesenin saw it. Here, in these open spaces, the childhood of the future lyricist flowed. In these meadows, in the thickets of lakes, as a barefoot boy, he caught duck broods, here he “teared flowers, rolled on the grass.” He had these places in mind when he wrote the lines: "No matter how beautiful Shiraz is, it is no better than the expanses of Ryazan." Natural landscapes keep the memory of bygone times and reveal the origins of Sergei Yesenin's creativity, his close connection with the nature of Russia," the museum-reserve noted.

This is the first time such a project has been implemented there. You can visit the Konstantinovsky foothills from May to October.
