The massive growth of the Red Book poisonous mushrooms was discovered by scientists of the Sochi National Park. The red trellis appeared in the Arboretum park. You can find a rare plant by its strong smell.

- Red lattice - a rare thing listed in the Red Book of Russia. Usually it grows singly, but here a whole self-assembled tablecloth unfolded. And gelatinous “eggs”, and a hatching leathery red lattice / net, and decaying “squid tentacles,” said Galina Soltani, a leading researcher at the Sochi National Park, candidate of biological sciences.

The mushroom population surge is explained by high humidity, fogs and moderate heat in Sochi. Such mushrooms grow not only in the national park, but throughout the resort.

- You can not touch such mushrooms. I remember that the professor pointed this out to us, picking it up and bringing it closer, and then he ate sandwiches with the same hands. Apparently, the water with which he rinsed his hands was not enough. The next day, the professor came down with severe poisoning, shared Galina Soltani.

The red lattice will grow until the end of the heat in Sochi, until November.
