Compiled a rating of Russian regions by the number of overnight stays in sanatoriums

A rating of the regions of the Russian Federation on the number of overnight stays in sanatoriums has been compiled.

The number of overnight stays in sanatorium-resort facilities in Russia amounted to more than 67 million in 2023. This is 3% more than in the previous year. Such data was published by the portal of the Sanatorium-Russia.

The Southern Federal District became the leader in the number of overnight stays, where sanatorium guests spent more than 19.5 million, which is slightly less than last year.

The Volga Federal District came in second place with a result of 12.2 million nights (5% more than in 2022).

The North Caucasus Federal District took the honorable third place in the ranking. Guests spent about 9.5 million nights in sanatoriums on its territory, surpassing last year's figure by almost 10%. In terms of growth dynamics, the region has become the leader among all federal districts.

The most popular in Russia are the sanatoriums of the Krasnodar Territory. The guests spent 13.8 million nights here, although this is 4% less than last year. The average cost of living is 3,250 rubles per day per person.

At the second place in the rating of the Sanatorium is in Russia - resorts of Caucasian mineral waters in the Stavropol Territory. More than 8 million nights were booked here, which is 7% more than in 2022. The average cost of living is 3870 rubles per person per day.

In third place are the resorts of the Crimea, where guests spent more than 5 million nights (7% more than last year). The average cost of staying in Crimean health resorts is 2,820 rubles per day.

More than 3.5 million nights were booked in the sanatoriums of the Moscow region, which brought this region the fourth place in the ranking. Overnight stays have increased by almost 10% compared to last year, and the average cost of a stay is 2,960 rubles per person per day.

The health resorts of the Republic of Bashkortostan are in fifth place. Guests of this region spent 2.4 million nights, which is slightly less than last year. The cost of living in the health resorts of Bashkortostan is 2,430 rubles per day.

The health resorts of the Altai Territory occupy the sixth place in the rating. Guests spent 1.65 million nights in this region, which is also less than in 2022, and the cost of stay is almost 4,500 rubles per day.

The health resorts of Tatarstan are in seventh place. Guests spent 1.57 million nights there, which is almost 5% more than last year. The average cost of living is 2,790 rubles per day.

The sanatoriums of the Samara region occupy the eighth place with a result of 1.55 million nights (5% more than in 2022). The cost of staying here is even more affordable - 2,200 rubles per day.

The health resorts of the Kemerovo region are in ninth place in the rating. The guests spent 1.35 million nights here (3.5% more than in the previous year). The average cost of a trip here is 2500 rubles.

The health resorts of the Tyumen region complete the top ten. The guests spent 1.26 million nights in the resorts of this region. This is 2.5% more than last year, and the average cost of a ticket is 3,350 rubles.
