The DuKu Highway (Dushanzi-Kuqa Highway), considered one of the most beautiful roads in China and connecting the northern and southern spurs of the Tian Shan mountains in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) in northwestern China, is open to travelers after hibernation.
A road with a length of more than 560 km has been closed for more than six months, but this is not connected with the coronavirus pandemic. Because of the harsh climatic conditions of the highlands, it functions only in the summer, from June to October. It lies through various picturesque landscapes - glaciers, mountain forests and meadows.
