Among the recipients of support is the Republic of Buryatia. This is stated in the message on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. “Last year, the region received 300 million rubles for the creation of modular non-capital accommodation facilities. This year, 590 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget of Buryatia for the creation of modular campsites, the development of beach infrastructure, tourist routes, their navigation, the organization of recreation areas, the arrangement of the tourist center of Ulan-Ude, as well as the organization of the Naadan-Surkharbaan sports and cultural festival , as per the message.

According to Rosstat, the number of tourists accommodated in hotels in the Far Eastern Federal District is steadily growing, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation reported.

“The current potential, the current tourist flow is, of course, not the limit for the federal district and Buryatia in particular. For its growth, the region has what it needs, including within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry", - said Dmitry Vakhrukov, deputy head of the department, during a visit to the republic. His words are included in the message.

As the deputy minister said, the Ministry of Economic Development will soon conclude agreements with the regions and bring funds for the implementation of the measures.
