Bansko is a city in southwestern Bulgaria, which holds the high title of the best ski resort in the country. On February 10-11, the Skiing World Cup competitions were held here. Despite the abnormally high temperatures for this time of year, the organizers of the competition were able to prepare the track at the highest level. The athletes and the audience were satisfied.

However, numerous guests of the city were surprised by the construction underway on the central streets of Bansko, despite the high season. Usually, any noisy work is prohibited here at this time. Tourists were outraged not only by the proximity to construction sites during the holidays, but also by the attitude of developers to the ecological state of the resort. Packaging materials thrown near construction sites are carried by the wind and pollute the Glazne River, which flows through the entire city.

Concerned citizens had to contact the Mayor's office of Bansko to eliminate such an outrage. While waiting for a response, the most active environmental defenders are trying to catch cellophane floating in the air on their own in order to at least slightly reduce the ingress of this pollutant into the river.
