In addition to Bashkiria, the Altai Republic, Dagestan, Karelia, Kaluga, Tula, Sakhalin Regions and Kamchatka Territory became pilot regions where the Land for Tourism project was launched. In these regions, operational headquarters have been created to identify land plots for involvement in tourism activities. The public cadastral map already contains information on 104 land plots.
The project is aimed at involving land in circulation for the development of the tourism sector and increasing the investment attractiveness of the regions. As expected, it will allow people and representatives of the business community to effectively plan their activities.
Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov said that in 8 months the tourist flow in the region reached 1.26 million people. In the future, the authorities of the republic plan to develop new tourist routes, equip recreation areas near the water and beaches, build campsites, create new information centers and create the necessary conditions for tourists with disabilities.
In the near future, a working group will be formed to identify areas suitable for the development of the tourism industry. These plots will be placed on the Public Cadastral Map in the Land for Tourism service.
