The Wildlife Hospital Foundation, a new nature conservation project, united doctors of the Oksky State Reserve, who together with the reserve staff conducted an autumn medical examination of birds.
The cranes that have been living in the reserve for many years are under the supervision of experienced veterinarians.
Thanks to the new modern equipment of the Hospital: an X-ray machine and a portable biochemical blood analyzer there is a rare opportunity to conduct accurate laboratory diagnostics immediately on the spot, whereas before this was only possible in a hospital, the official website of the reserve says.
