Andrei Borodin appointed director of FSBI Zapovedny Krym

Andrei Borodin was appointed Director of the FSBI Zapovedny Krym (Crimea) effective on February 4, 2020. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the order was signed by the head of the department Dmitry Kobylkin.

He set the main tasks for the operational organization of work, the inclusion of Crimean specially protected natural areas in the federal project for the conservation of biodiversity and the development of ecotourism of the national project «Ecology".

Borodin was born in 1973, a native of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory. In 2009 he graduated from Moscow State Forest University with a degree in Economics and Management at Forestry Enterprises. Since 2003, he has been working in various positions in the reserve system of Russia. He started with the district state inspector at the Federal State Institution “Caucasian State Natural Biosphere Reserve”, worked in the “Kronotsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve”, in the reserve “Kedrovaya Pad” and the national park “Land of the Leopard”, as well as in the Natural Park “Volcanoes of Kamchatka”.
