The competition will take place in several stages. Applications will be accepted until October 24th. As part of the qualifying stage, participants will present a portfolio of their work, a presentation, photographs, a video message, business cards, diplomas, certificates and other documentation in accordance with the rules of the competition. Based on the results of acceptance of applications, a catalog of creative works will be formed.
There will be five nominations in total. According to the results of the competition, the best masters of carving art, leather and fur craft, creative craft, gastronomic souvenir and the best Arctic art project will be selected.
In parallel with the competition, a series of training webinars from leading industry experts will be held, which will be available to all participants already at the stage of collecting applications. In addition, face-to-face seminars for semi-finalists and finalists will be held. To establish cooperation between craftsmen, designers, culturologists and the tourist industry, the program of seminars provides for joint discussions and the implementation of a block of practical tasks.
Representatives of organizations of the tourism and hospitality industry, souvenir, gastronomic and related industries of folk art crafts, areas of cultural creativity, applied folk art, artistic creative activity and various crafts will be able to take part in the competition. In addition, self-employed and individual entrepreneurs, employees of specialized organizations holding positions corresponding to the nominations, including the indigenous peoples of the North, are invited to participate.
Participation in the competition is free.
All participants receive commemorative certificates, and semi-finalists and finalists receive diplomas, souvenirs and a cash reward of up to 75,000 rubles.
