According to tradition, the tourist flow to the mountain cluster will grow. Today, there are six regular routes in this direction.
- During the New Year holidays, a total of 62 units of large and medium–class rolling stock will operate on the routes, the movement interval is 25-40 minutes, - the Sochi administration noted.
Entry into the mountain cluster by vehicles not equipped with winter tires will be restricted in accordance with the updated provisions on the admission of vehicles to operation, which entered into force on September 1, 2023. Residents and guests of Sochi are advised to refrain from using private cars to travel in the direction of Krasnaya Polyana during the New Year and Christmas holidays and use public transport. To promptly inform drivers about the regularly changing situation on the city's road network and minimize congestion, mobile electronic displays will be installed on the highways. They will display information about the number of ski passes available at ski resorts, as well as the number of free parking spaces. The total parking capacity of Sochi mountain resorts this year will be over 4,000 places. During the New Year holidays, 95 units of road equipment will work in the mountain cluster. The vehicles engaged in winter maintenance of highways are prepared and equipped with the necessary equipment. Over 7,500 tons of anti-icing materials are provided for filling roads in case of ice.
