This river flows in the Vologda region and is used for drinking water supply of the regional center, as well as for household needs.

Due to anthropogenic load, the river has lost the ability to self-purify, which affects the quality of water. As expected, in the course of clearing from bottom sediments and littering vegetation, more than 1.2 km of the channel will be freed, including at the mouth sections of the tributaries - the Shogrash and Dylevka rivers.

The work is expected to last 2.5 years. Now, on the bank of the river, specialists are equipping a platform for placing seized silt deposits raised from the bottom of the river. The main phase of work will begin in June 2023. The cleanup will be completed in 2024.
