A photo exhibition "Antiquities of the Domodedovo Land. Shcherbinsky settlement of Dyakov culture" has opened at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
The exhibition was organized on the initiative of the administration of the Domodedovo City District within the framework of the state program "Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia".
The aim of the project is to popularize the archaeological heritage of our country. It is no coincidence that the passenger terminal of the air harbor became the venue for the exhibition: every month millions of Russian and foreign air travelers depart from Domodedovo, and acquaintance with the exposition will allow you to tell about the importance of historical and cultural values.
At the exhibition, which will last until March 25, 2023, visitors will be able to see large–format photographs of unique archaeological finds from different periods of the existence of the Shcherbinsky settlement (VII century BC - V century AD), located near Domodedovo airport.
The photo works were made by Andrey Bronnikov, an artist-photographer, an employee of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
