A new tourist space "Pomorskaya Gosteba" has opened on the island of Kego on the shore of the Nikolsky arm of the Northern Dvina. You can get here by boat from the center of Arkhangelsk in 20 minutes. According to the creators, the project unites creative teams, entrepreneurs, craftsmen and local residents under its roof. The room has tables and benches for master classes and tea parties, there is a stage for concerts and performances, and through panoramic windows guests can admire the views of the Northern Dvina and sunsets. This was announced on its website by the Center for the Development of Tourism and Culture of the Arkhangelsk region.

"Pomorskaya gosteba" will be the starting point for walking around the island. To date, three new tourist routes are under development: "Pomorskaya gosteba: feast", introducing the gastronomic traditions of the North, "Pomorskaya gosteba: children", created taking into account the interests of schoolchildren, as well as "Pomorskaya Gosteba: wedding", for those wishing to celebrate an important event in Pomor traditions," the message says.

As noted in the center, the authors of the project "Pomorskaya Gosteba" plan to insulate the room and improve the territory by the next season — to build gazebos, a fire zone and a viewing platform so that you can take beautiful photos.

The initiative to create such a space previously received federal support within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality industry". To implement the project, the travel company "Seven Continents" became a resident of the Arctic zone. Assistance and support in obtaining a land plot for construction was provided by the Agency for Regional Development of the Arkhangelsk Region and the administration of the capital of the region.
