Thanks to it, new tourist sites can easily enter into the appropriate register to receive a zero VAT rate.
The service was launched jointly by Rostourism and the Ministry of Digital Development as part of the launch of a new support measure - a zero VAT rate for new tourist facilities put into operation after January 1, 2022.
The head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, in her telegram channel said that objects applying for such support, before applying to the tax office, must declare and enter the Register of Tourism Industry Objects. This can be done quickly thanks to the new online service through the State Services.
Support can be allocated to hotels included in the Unified List of Classified Hotels, campsites, water parks, sanatorium treatment and recreation facilities, ski slopes and complexes. Also, multifunctional complexes that include a number of rooms, as well as entertainment or sports and recreation centers and yacht clubs that are part of them, can also receive a zero VAT rate.
Doguzova recalled that tourist facilities put into operation before January 1, 2022 can also receive benefits for services for the provision of places for temporary accommodation of guests. To do this, they simply need to contact the tax authorities.
