Insulated mountain shelters for travelers are installed in popular tourist spots on Yamal. At the moment, two residential and four sanitary modules are located at the foot of Chernaya Mountain, in the valley of the Senka-Shor River, in the parking lot at the beginning of the tourist route "Glacier of Romantics" and on the territory of the Rai-Iz massif. This was reported on its website

The Government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug).

"The first mining module for travelers appeared on the territory of the Rai-Iz massif in 2022. In 2024, nine more mining modules are planned to be installed near Lake Bolshoy Hadatayeganlor and the Bolshaya Pipudyna River, at the foot of Mount Lekvozh and near the Sobh River," the report says.

Modern modules are equipped with sleeping places, a wood-burning stove, solar panels, sockets and USB connectors for charging gadgets. They also have autonomous satellite beacons with an SOS button, which allow you to quickly transmit information about incidents directly to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

"The harsh climatic environment of the Far North places increased demands on the level of tourist safety. The durable insulation of the modules will allow you to keep warm even in the lowest temperature conditions," the government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District reported.
