The construction of the modern all-season mountain eco-resort "Lagonaki" in the Republic of Adygea, Russia, will begin in 2022, the investments in the project will amount to 35 billion rubles. This was reported by the press service of Krasnaya Polyana, which signed an agreement on the construction of the resort with the government of the republic. The planned payback period of the project is 15 years.
The construction of the facilities will begin in 2022 and will be divided into three phases. At the first stage, by the end of 2024, 20 km of tracks and hotels with 650 rooms will be built.
In total for the entire construction period (until 2028) it is planned to build 36 km of ski slopes and 3 thousand hotel rooms of international hotel brands, year-round services for family vacations: mountain baths, spa complexes, restaurants. This will allow receiving over 500 thousand guests annually.
«The resort will be located outside the boundaries of the Natural World Heritage Site. Minimizing environmental impact is our priority. Networks and linear facilities will be laid on established roads and paths that have already been eroded, and ski slopes will be laid directly on snow in winter without damaging the soil,» said the general director of NJSC "Krasnaya Polyana" Andrey Krukovsky.
