A group of Korean cyclists will make a bike ride from Vladivostok to Irkutsk. The guests are going to arrive in the capital of Primorye at the end of June. After that, the team plans to take a train to Omsk, cross the border with Kazakhstan and make their way to Uzbekistan. This was announced on its website by the Tourist Information Center of the Primorsky Krai.
“The final destination of the route is Georgia. The whole bike ride is called "Journey through Eurasia". Volunteers from Vladivostok can join the bike ride and help the team make the journey.
The leader of the group of Korean cyclists is Keeman Pak, who has made 150 trips abroad over the past 19 years. This experience helps him in organizing bike tours through different countries.
“In the past, Keeman was a businessman. Having failed twice in business, he found himself in bike rides. Now his dream is to travel around the world for the rest of his days. In April 2022, together with the group, he held a bike ride through Eurasia, but due to the coronovirus, he could not start from Vladivostok. The cyclists traveled from Tbilisi to Lisbon for 5 months,” the information center said.
