“From August 4, anyone and a visitor to VDNKh will be able to get acquainted with the map and take a picture of it. The map of Russia at VDNKh will acquaint visitors with the key cities and objects of national tourist routes,” Rosturizm reports on its website.
In total, 26 national tourist routes are presented on the map with an area of 560 square meters, which have already passed the expert assessment of the department. They are developed by Rostourism together with the regions and business.
On this map, each city and object has a QR code, when you click on it, you can find out the full description and features of a particular route on the Russia.Travel portal.
“In addition, 3D drawings are depicted next to the map: a huge sleeping bear, majestic rocks and rivers of Siberia,” the Rostourism noted.
The big map of Russia has become a key art object of the Russian travel forum "Travel!", which takes place from 4 to 7 August in Moscow at VDNKh.
On August 6, as part of the "Workshop of National Tourist Routes", such destinations as "Horizons of Discovery" (Orenburg Region), "Zhiguli Weekend" (Samara Region), "Call of Torama" (Republic of Mordovia), "Peter I Startup" ( Rostov region), "Arkhangelsk: the Arctic begins here" (Arkhangelsk region) and others.
