Residents of Israel are still distinguished by their love of travel.

In the first 11 months of this year, 7.7 million Israelis, or almost 80% of the country's residents, went abroad, compared to 8.5 million for the same period in 2021, according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Israel.

On the other hand, the number of foreign tourists arriving in the country has decreased. In the period from January to November, only 2.6 million travelers from abroad entered Israel, compared with 4.5 million in the same period in 2019.

The decrease in the number of visitors is largely due to the high cost of air tickets and the growth of consumer prices in Israel.
