40 barrier-free beaches open in Sochi

In three years, the number of beach areas accessible to people with disabilities has doubled. They are in every part of the city.

Thanks to the developed long-term lease agreements, users of the territories are paying more attention to the topic - elements of a barrier-free environment appear on all beaches, said the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

For the development of beach infrastructure in Sochi, for the second year in a row, additional funds from the federal resort fee program are allocated. By this season, ramps have been installed on 35 more city beaches.
