Zimbabwe’s annual Hlanganani World Tourism Expo is set to commence in Bulawayo from October 12 to 14, 2023.

Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) said the expo is Africa’s flagship signature event and an ideal meeting place for developing quality business relationships through face-to-face interactions.

ZTA organised site inspections of several facilities as part of the expo’s buyer and media tours.

The first tour was in the Eastern Highlands, while the second one covered Kariba and Victoria Falls.

“These inspections involve taking agents to different accommodation facilities and restaurants, allowing them to assess and evaluate these establishments,” it said.

“The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that agents can accurately promote and package these establishments to their respective target markets.”

This year’s expo will celebrate the perseverance, energy, and untapped potential of Zimbabwe as a leading tourist destination.
