Youth environmental initiatives will be presented within the framework of the VEF.Junior forum

The competition of projects among young people will be held from 5 to 8 September in Vladivostok. Ecological initiatives in the field of sustainable development, as well as projects to form the correct management of municipal solid waste (MSW) will be accepted for participation. For example, participants will have to figure out how to shape the image of green cities.

The press service of the Roscongress reported that the projects will be presented in three categories. The first one is called "Technological and digital projects". It includes offers related to digital technologies, smart devices and sensors. The second category is "Private eco-initiatives". Its participants will present projects aimed at the formation of conscious consumption and proper handling of MSW. The third nomination "Ecology-ART" will present projects aimed at shaping the image of "green" cities and towns.

The competition is held in age groups - from 14 to 16 and from 17 to 18 years. Its winners will be awarded diplomas and memorable prizes from the organizers and partners at the Eastern Economic Forum.

Active teenagers from any region of the country can become participants in the "VEF.Junior" section.
