Cyclists will gather at Frunzenskaya Embankment and ride along the Moskva River to Zaryadye Park and back. The total length of the route is 11 km.
“An hour before the start, interactive zones and a food court will start working in Khamovniki, participants of the cycling festival will be invited to participate in competitions and prize draws,” the national tourist portal Russia Travel reports.
Participation in the bike ride is free.
“The festival is not a competition, and all cyclists will ride at the same speed of 15 km/h, but be careful: wear a helmet and gloves,” warns Russia Travel.
As noted on the festival's website, the organizers want people to see the benefits of cycling as a means of transport. They are sure that "this makes the city more environmentally friendly and safer, and people healthier and happier."
