The film crew of the Russian Arctic National Park has completed the filming of the documentary "Bear's Corner", says the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation.
The shooting was headed by the chief director of the film, cameraman Maxim Pervakov and wildlife photographer, specialist of the department of environmental education and tourism of the national park Nikolai Gernet.
The filming took place on the Alexandra Land island of the Franz Josef Land archipelago, where the filmmakers spent two weeks.
The filmmakers managed to capture the spring Arctic: sunny, icy and very beautiful. The director of the film "Bear's Corner" Maxim Pervakov worked in 2020 in the South Cluster, where the first part of filming took place.
Polar bear monitoring in protected areas in 2021 was continued by a group of scientists from the Institute of Ecology and Evolution by A.N. Severtsov RAS with the support of the Arctic Scientific Center.
