The “Water of Russia” campaign took place on the Black Sea coast in the Anapa region, and about 400 volunteers took part in it. They managed to collect and remove more than 300 bags of garbage from the sea coast - mostly plastic bottles and disposable cups. The action was organized by employees of the Utrish Nature Reserve. The Russian Ministry of Natural Resources reported this on its website.
“The Utrish Nature Reserve stretches along the Black Sea coast; on its territory there are hard-to-reach lagoons. Volunteers reached them on boats. After the garbage was collected, it was also transported by boat to the shore, where garbage trucks could drive up,” the department said.
After cleaning, the participants were presented with memorable diplomas.
