In honor of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the vessel "Peter the Great" will be renamed, which is being built in Astrakhan at the sites of the Southern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center. Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the LDPR party, told about this during a visit to the Lotos shipyard.

- It is assumed that in 2024 the vessel will be ready for commissioning. It is being built by order of the Moscow River Shipping Company, the operator will be the Mosturflot company," Portnews noted.

The four-deck liner will be equipped with swimming pools, terraces and restaurant complexes. Route plans include visits to Sochi, Novorossiysk, Batumi and Istanbul. More detailed information about the routes will be available after the launch of the vessel.
