The theme of this year's festival is "Graceful Gardening". That was the name of the main garden bestseller of the late 19th century, the book of the famous Russian dendrologist and gardener Arnold Regel. In it, he summarized and systematized the basic principles of gardening and developed a system of practical recommendations for novice lovers of gardens and backyard flower beds.
During the days of the festival, visitors will be invited to an open-air landscape exhibition. This year, the exhibits will be "graceful" gardens and compositions created by talented Russian designers.
In addition, a rich cultural program includes concerts, lectures, master classes, author's excursions, meetings with interesting people and much more.
The festival will also host several important museum projects. These include Houseplant Day, Ceramics Day with a themed picnic and a one-day exhibition "Flora and Fauna of Distant Planets".
The festival will take place in the Air Gardens, on the historical territory near the Tsaritsyno greenhouses. Traditionally, admission to the landscape exhibition and to most events within the parallel program will be free.
