From April 30 to October 30, sightseeing trains will run on the Circum-Baikal Railway (CIBR) in the Irkutsk Region.
“The new tourist season will begin with the launch of comfortable commuter trains. They will depart twice a week, but starting from the summer, the frequency of their departures will increase. The cruise double-decker train "Baikal Fairy Tale" will continue to run around the lake. For the first time in 2022, the “hotel on wheels” will leave Moscow in June,” the national tourism portal Russia.travel reports.
And from July 1, it will be possible to travel along the old railway on the Baikal Express train, which runs on steam locomotive traction.
In addition, according to the portal, on the Slyudyanka I - Baikal section, the commuter train Nerpochka will run every day except Wednesday.
As noted in the message on the site Russia.travel, the Circum-Baikal Railway remains a favorite place for recreation and travel of tourists from different cities and countries.
