Tourists will be able to go on a retro tour from Nizhny Novgorod on a unique steam locomotive

The press service of the Gorky Railway announced the launch of a new tourist retro train. It will run on weekends.

"The train is headed by a unique steam locomotive P-36. It was produced from 1953 to 1956 and can reach speeds of up to 125 km / h. The power of a steam locomotive of this series is 2.8 thousand l / s, and its length is almost 30 m", as per the message.

The train also includes new cars equipped with ergonomic chairs, comfortable steps, individual tables and sockets near each seat.

The train starts from Nizhny Novgorod. On the way, stops are provided at the stations of Nizhny Novgorod-Sortirovochny, Petryaevka, Strigino, Okskaya, Kudma, Oksky Bereg, Roika, Bolshaya Yelnya, Ankudinovka. The first such flight took place on July 1.
